HR Officer - Sunrise Education Consultants

WE ARE HIRING | HR 

Sunrise Education Consultants is looking for a skilled, responsible, and people-focused HR Officer to join our team.

We are seeking a proactive HR professional who can independently manage recruitment, employee onboarding, attendance and leave, performance management, HR documentation, employee relations, payroll, policy implementation, training coordination, and day-to-day HR operations.

The ideal candidate should be highly organized, professional, confidential, and capable of maintaining a productive workplace while supporting management with accurate HR information and effective people management.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
  • Candidates with a BBA major in HRM will be preferred.
  • MBA/Master’s in HRM, Management, or a related discipline will be considered an added advantage.
  • Professional HR training, certification, or relevant HR development courses will receive additional preference.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of practical experience in Human Resources, Administration, or a related role.
  • Candidates with hands-on experience in recruitment, employee documentation, performance management, attendance, payroll coordination, and employee relations will be highly preferred.
  • Experience in an education consultancy, service-based organization, corporate office, or multi-branch business will be an added advantage.
  • Candidates who have independently handled HR operations will receive preference.

Key Responsibilities: 


  • Identify manpower requirements in consultation with department heads and management.
  • Prepare clear and professional Job Descriptions and Job Circulars.
  • Publish vacancies through suitable recruitment platforms.
  • Screen CVs and shortlist qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial interviews and coordinate final interviews with management.
  • Conduct reference checks when necessary.
  • Support salary negotiation, final selection, and offer process.
  • Maintain an organized candidate database and recruitment pipeline.
  • Ensure recruitment is completed within the required timeline.

Employee Onboarding & Orientation:

  • Prepare Offer Letters, Appointment Letters, and other joining documents.
  • Collect and verify employee documents, including CV, academic certificates, NID/passport copy, photographs, and other required records.
  • Conduct employee orientation and explain:
    • Company policies
    • Office rules
    • Job responsibilities
    • Reporting structure
    • Attendance & leave procedures
    • Workplace conduct
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth onboarding.

Employee Documentation & HR Records:

  • Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential employee files.
  • Keep employee information regularly updated.
  • Prepare and maintain HR documents, including:
    • Appointment Letters
    • Confirmation Letters
    • Increment Letters
    • Promotion Letters
    • Transfer Letters
    • Warning Letters
    • Show-Cause Notices
    • Experience Certificates
    • Clearance Documents
    • Resignation Records
  • Ensure all employee records are properly organized and easily accessible when required.

Attendance & Leave Management:

  • Monitor daily attendance, late entry, early departure, absence, and office timing.
  • Maintain accurate leave records.
  • Process annual, casual, sick, unpaid, emergency, and other approved leave.
  • Prepare monthly attendance and leave reports.
  • Identify irregular attendance patterns and report them to management when necessary.

Payroll & Benefits Coordination:

  • Prepare attendance, leave, deduction, overtime, incentive, and adjustment information for monthly payroll processing.
  • Coordinate with the Accounts Department regarding:
    • Salary
    • Incentives
    • Commissions
    • Bonuses
    • Deductions
    • Employee advances
    • Other payroll adjustments
  • Ensure all payroll-related HR data is accurate and submitted on time.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding salary and employee financial information.

Performance Management:

  • Assist management in developing and maintaining employee KPIs and performance standards.
  • Monitor employee performance and productivity.
  • Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews.
  • Maintain performance evaluation records.
  • Identify performance gaps and coordinate improvement plans where necessary.
  • Support management decisions related to:
    • Confirmation
    • Promotion
    • Increment
    • Role adjustment
    • Performance improvement
  • Follow up with department heads regarding employee performance.

Probation & Employee Confirmation:

  • Track probation periods of newly joined employees.
  • Collect performance feedback from supervisors and department heads.
  • Prepare confirmation, probation extension, or relevant documentation after management approval.
  • Ensure probation reviews are completed on time.

Training & Employee Development:

  • Identify employee training and development needs.
  • Organize employee orientation, internal training, and professional development sessions.
  • Support department heads in training new employees.
  • Help employees understand company processes, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
  • Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness where necessary.

Employee Relations:

  • Maintain professional communication between employees and management.
  • Address employee concerns and workplace issues professionally.
  • Support conflict resolution and maintain healthy workplace relationships.
  • Encourage a respectful, disciplined, and productive office culture.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee matters.

Discipline & Workplace Conduct:

  • Monitor compliance with company policies and workplace standards.
  • Address attendance issues, misconduct, poor discipline, or policy violations.
  • Prepare verbal or written warning documentation when required.
  • Prepare show-cause notices and other disciplinary documents after management approval.
  • Maintain proper records of disciplinary actions.

HR Policies & Procedures:

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and updating HR policies.
  • Ensure employees understand company rules and HR procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with policies related to:

    • Leave
    • Office Timing
    • Dress Code
    • Workplace Conduct
    • Confidentiality
    • Performance
    • Resignation
    • Notice Period
    • Company Assets
  • Recommend improvements to HR procedures when necessary.

Employee Engagement & Retention:

  • Support employee engagement and motivation initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee recognition, team activities, internal events, and celebrations where appropriate.
  • Collect employee feedback and communicate important concerns to management.
  • Support initiatives aimed at improving employee satisfaction and retention.

Resignation, Handover & Exit Management:

  • Receive and process employee resignations.
  • Monitor notice periods.
  • Coordinate proper work handover.
  • Ensure company assets and documents are returned.
  • Conduct exit interviews where required.
  • Coordinate final settlement information with Accounts.
  • Prepare clearance and experience certificates after approval.
  • Maintain exit records for future reference.

HR Reporting & Management Support:

Prepare regular HR reports, including:

  • Employee Headcount Report
  • Attendance Report
  • Leave Report
  • Recruitment Status Report
  • Vacancy Report
  • Probation Status Report
  • Employee Turnover Report
  • Performance Report
  • Training Report
  • Disciplinary Report
  • Department-wise Manpower Report

Provide management with accurate HR data and insights for manpower planning and decision-making.

Responsibilities Specific to Sunrise Education Consultants:

As part of the HR function at Sunrise Education Consultants, the selected candidate may also be responsible for:

  • Recruiting employees for Counselling, Call Centre, Marketing, SEO, Content, Accounts, Administration, and other departments.
  • Coordinating manpower requirements across departments and branches.
  • Monitoring employee attendance, punctuality, task discipline, and professional conduct.
  • Supporting performance monitoring of counsellors, call centre staff, marketing teams, and operational employees.
  • Coordinating new employee training and departmental orientation.
  • Maintaining branch-wise employee records and manpower reports.
  • Supporting management with employee performance, recruitment, attendance, and workforce planning reports.
  • Ensuring consistent workplace discipline and professional standards across the organization.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of HR operations and recruitment processes.
  • Good understanding of employee lifecycle management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.
  • Ability to prepare professional HR reports and documentation.
